Your Birth Experience

To give a little insight on what a birthing session entails its usually a spontaneous event which always makes these sessions so special!

The most common questions are;

• 1. When do I call you? I usually have my clients text or call me as soon as they are in active labor which is when your water breaks or checked in to the hospital/birthing center. I highly recommend having a group text of you, me, and one other person who can keep me updated on your progress through labor before I'm given the go to head to your birth.
• 2. When do you come into the delivery room? Every birth is SO different, if you're dilating quickly I highly recommend to have me in to the delivery room around 5-6cm. If you're dilating slower I'd suggest around 7-8cm, but if you are unsure of your progression I can always come in at around 6-7cm.  
• 3. What images do you take of the birth? I ALWAYS connect with my birthing clients before hand. Making sure I photograph exactly what you want and don't want in the images. I photograph all the tiny details you normally wouldn't think of going into the hospital. After you deliver I stay an additional 30-60 min to photograph mom/dad & family with baby, baby details/solo images & all other details after delivery.
